    Synthesis and biological activity of chitooligosaccharidesSchiff base metal complexes

      Abstract
    • Eighteen chitooligosaccharides Schiff base metal complexes were synthesized from chitooligosaccharides with substituted salicylaldehyde and metal ion. Their structures were confirmed by UV, IR and elemental analysis or ICP spectroscopy. Preliminary bioassay results showed that these compounds were effective in anti-TMV at 100 μ g/mL, and local lesion inhibition rate of compound 5m reached 78.86%.
