    The inclusion complex of uniconazole- β -cyclodextrin:preparation,characteristic and bioactivity

    • The inclusion complex of uniconazole- β -cyclodextrin (UCZ- β -CD) was prepared by saturated aqueous solution method. Acetone, ethanol and N, N-dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal (DMF) were selected as the solvent of guest molecular. The inclusion process was as follows: the stoichiometry ratio of β -CD to UCZ (1∶ 1 and 2∶ 1) was chosen, the reaction was carried out at room temperature for 4 h under stirring rate of 800 r/min. Characteristics of the inclusion complexes were performed by UV-vis absorption spectra, XRD spectra and 1H NMR spectra. The binding constant of inclusion complex was determined at 2 528.5 M-1, which was calculated based on the phase-solubility diagram. In addition, the dispersibility of inclusion complexes in distilled water and the releasing effect of inclusion complexes were evaluated by the particle size analysis and curves of UCZ release from the inclusion complex. Finally, the bioactivity of inclusion complexes was tested by rice seedling driblet method. The results revealed that compared with other inclusion complexes, the inclusion complex under the stoichiometry ratio of the solvent of guest molecular (acetone) and host-guest ( 1∶ 1) had the better effect of UCZ release and bioavailability.
