    Effects of surface modification of SiO2 nanoparticleson the adsorption of abamectin

    • SiO2 nanoparticles were modified by silane coupling agent KH-570 and their effects on the adsorption capacity of abamectin were studied. The structure and physicochemical properties of silane modified SiO2 were characterized by XRD, SEM and FTIR.It was shown that SiO2 nanoparticles were modified by KH-570 successfully and dispersivity of the surface modified SiO2 nanoparticles was improved. As a result, SiO2 nanoparticles modified by KH-570 can be used as an ideal carrier for biological pesticides.
