Abstract
Inactivation methods were used to study the inhibition effects of tricyclohexyltin chloride against tobacco mosaic virus (TMV).The inhibition effects of tricyclohexyltin chloride against TMV,TMV-RNA and TMV coat-protein (TMV-CP) were studied by electron microscope, agarose gel electrophoresis and ultraviolet spectroscopy, respectively.Electron microscope study indicated that the TMV particles were fractured after treated with 500 μ g/mL tricyclohexyltin chloride for 30 min in vitro (inhibition rate up to 75.77%±0.11%,P<0.01).The experimental results also showed that TMV-RNA degradated and the polymerization of TMV-CP inhibited by treated with tricyclohexyltin chloride.
