Adsorption and mobility of acetamiprid and abamectin in four soils

Adsorption and mobility of acetamiprid and abamectin were evaluated using thin layer chromatography and batch equilibrium techniques in four soils (Purple soil,Brick red soil,Yellow soil and Black soil).The mobility of acetamiprid and abamectin was not affected when used in combination.Acetamiprid and abamectin mobility,when scaled by Rf,were ranked as Yellow soil>Purple soil>Black soil>Brick red soil.Adsorption results suggested that the adsorption isotherms fitted the Freundlich equation well.When used in mixture,the absorption of acetamiprid was not affected by abamectin.On the other hand,absorption of abamectin was reduced by its mixture use with acetamiprid.
