    High throughput screening as a tool for discovering agrochemicals effective on Alternaria solania

    • With OD630 value as an evaluation index,high-throughput screening method for discovering agrochemicals effective on tomato early blight pathogen was established by a micro plate spectrophotometer.The effect of eight widely-used fungicides(including azoxystrobin,chlorthalonil,difenoconazole,cymoxanil,metalaxyl,mancozeb,thiram and prochloraz) against Alternaria solani spore germination and mycelial growth was tested.The conclusion from high-throughput screening method was almost consistent with that from conventional spore germination method or visual observation.
