Selection of the analytical methods and the results evaluation for the determination of pesticides residue in FAPAS proficiency tests

Abstract
Qualitative and quantitative analyses of pesticides residue in the samples of FAPAS (Food Analysis Performance Assessment Scheme) proficiency tests (PTs)were performed by identified and reliable analytical methods.Firstly,on-line chromatography and mass spectrometry was applied to screen the target compounds from a list of pesticides,and then the characteristics of the samples and the target compounds were evaluated in order to use an appropriate pre-processing technology and detection methods for quantitative analysis once the target pesticides were identified.The |Z| values of all the parameters in six FAPAS PTs were less than 2,and the results were satisfactory.
