    Application and their environmental safeties of alkyl polyglycoside and di-potassium monododecyl phosphate in emamectin benzoate 30 ME

    • For the purpose of investigating the application of green surfactants (alkyl polyglycoside-APG and di-potassium monododecyl phosphate-MAPK) in emamectin benzoate 30 ME,traditional surfactants (OP-10 and NP-10P) was used as contrast.Base on the best mixing ratio determined by drawing the pseudo-ternary phase diagrams,comparison of mixed system MAPK/APGm(MAPK):m(APG)=2:1with mixed system NP-10P/OP-10m(NP-10P):m(OP-10)=1:2 on solubilization of emamectin benzoate was made.Emamectin benzoate 30 ME,whose quality requirements were up to standard,were prepared with two kinds of surfactants using 10% total surfactant concentration and with the best mixing ratio and bioactivities on Plutella xylostella were measured.The environmental safety assessments of four surfactants (environmental safety on aquatic organism and biodegradation) were made.The results showed that surface activity and solubilization of mixed system (APG/MAPK) with the best mixing ratio was lower than that of mixed system (OP-10/NP-10P).The bioactivityon Plutella xylostella of emamectin benzoate 30 ME prepared with green surfactants had no marked difference with the emamectin benzoate 30 ME prepared with traditional surfactants.The toxicity of four surfactants on zebra fish and Daphnia magna showed the similar trend:APG had a smallest toxity to zebra fish and Daphnia magna,while MAPK and NP-10P had a mainly similar toxity and OP-10 had a greatest toxity.The biodegradation rate of APG,MAPK,NP-10P,OP-10 was 61.5%,49.7%,17.9% and 15.0% respectively,suggesting that the biodegradation rate of APG and MAPK were higher than NP-10P and OP-10.There was a better prospective of the application of green surfactants in pesticide formulation.
