Progress on aquatic eco-risk assessment of rice paddy pesticides

The aquatic eco-risk assessment technology system established by US,Japan and EU for the pesticides usd in rice paddy were reviewed,with aspects on assessment procedures,models and scenarios developed.The paper deals with exposure assessment concerned in assessment procedures.Introduction of models and scenarios covered the rice-surface water models and corresponding scenarios developed and widely used by U.S.,Japan and EU.Finally,progress on aquatic eco-risk assessment of rice paddy pesticides in China was elaborated and research themes in this field in coming years was proposed.
