Synthesis and antifungal activity of analogues based on aurone

Abstract
Fourteen novel aurone analogues were synthesized from sesamol and aromatic aldehyde by the reaction of Friedel-Crafts acylation,cyclization and aldol condensation.The structures were confirmed by 1H NMR,IR and MS.Preliminary bio-activity test showed that fourteen compounds exhibit different inhibitory effect against all the tested fungi at concentration of 100 mg/L.Compounds 3a-3d had 100% inhibitory effect against Botrytis cirerea.Compound 3g showed good inhibition to Fusarium graminearum,Curvulavia lunata,Fusarium oxysporum vasinfectum and Magnaporthe grisea,the inhibition rate were above 80%.The inhibition rate of compound 3m to Fusarium solani and C.lunata was up to 100% and 83.8%,respectively.
