Research progress of QuEChERS method in pesticide mult-residue analysis

QuEChERS,which stands for "quick,easy,cheap,effective,rugged and safe",has been becoming a popular means of sample preparation method globally.Using this method mainly based upon gas chromatography(GC) and liquid chromatography (LC) coupled with mass spectrometry (MS) and MSn as the detection tools for identification and quantification,hundreds of pesticide residues could be measured at parts per billion levels or even below in short time.The historical development and progress of QuEChERS methods in multi-pesticides residue analysis were summarized.The method optimization processes were discussed,such as sample preparation,extraction/partitioning,clean-up,concentrate supernatant and so on.
