Synthesis and insecticidal activity of 2-arylidene-1-hydrocarbonyl-N'-nitrohydrazinecarboximidamides

In searching for new insecticidal lead compound,25 title compounds were designed and synthesized from two active moieties in different typical insecticides,i.e.neonicotinoids and hydrocarbylidene hydrazinecarboxamides,of which 22 are new compounds.All the structures were confirmed by 1H NMR and elementary analysis.The preliminary bioassay showed that they were effective to Bemisia tabaci(Gennadius) under 500 μg/mL,compound 3e and 3i gave an inhibition ratio up to 80%.But all the compounds were ineffective to Mythimna separata(Walker) under same concentrations.
